Description:
The Computer Programmer will:
- Install, Patch and Clone Oracle e-Business Suite Applications
& Database system for Development, QA and Production environments
- Optimize
physical design and environment for different access methods and
performance.
- Design,
create and tune physical database objects to support normalized and
dimensional models, maintaining the referential integrity of the
database.
- Develop database management productivity tools, including database monitoring procedures and utilities.
- Provide
ongoing support of the environment by developing processes and
executing object migrations, security and access privilege setup.
- Develop and test disaster recovery procedures using advanced DB features like Active Dataguard.
- Perform Oracle Database backup and recovery using Oracle Recovery Manager Tool.
- Provide
24x7 support and ensure all critical Oracle Database and Oracle
e-Business Suite Application system problems are resolved in a timely
manner.
- Develop solutions to client problems through application of methods and tools; validate solutions to subject matter experts.
- Contribute to continuous development of methods and tools.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other engineering degree with relevant software development experience.
- 3-6 years of progressively responsible job related experience with one or a combination of the following - Administrate Oracle
database and Oracle EBS Applications
- Apply Oracle patches
and performing adhoc activities and trouble shoot oracle issues
- Lead Oracle applications
upgrades
- Tune long Running SQL
queries
- Estimate Table and
object Growth and Add space to table spaces
- Support Middleware
applications by performance tuning and system support services
- Prepare documentation for Oracle Patching, Cloning, Upgrading process.
- Experience in writing UNIX shell scripts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Agile development experience in a continuous integration environment
- Experience in administrating and Troubleshooting in Weblogic Server
- Experience with Oracle Identity Management Components
