Description:
Intellisoft Technologies is looking for a Computer Programmer for a position in the Northern Virginia area.
The Computer Programmer will: - Design and develop mobile/web applications using Java, JavaScript, XML, HTML,
and MYSQL.
- Translate user requirements
into an application and/or database design, write interfaces to
companion applications or databases, and provide support to applications
in an O&M status.
- Evaluate the methods and technologies for data processing, developing, designing, and
implementing effective data models, applying information processing
theory, and incorporating external libraries to build and deliver
functionality.
- Gather requirements from client workshop, take ownership and lead large portions of a project with little supervision
- Oversee the ongoing maintenance of web
applications, databases, web servers, web security and connectivity.
The
successful candidate is expected to write necessary code with
straightforward logic, ensure interoperability with other applications,
and generate comprehensive test plans.. Additional work will be in
researching software tools and creating custom solutions to solve
complex problems. The candidate will be an active participant on Agile
scrum teams Qualifications:EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's
degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science,
Information Systems, or other engineering degree with relevant software
development experience.
- 3-6 years of progressively responsible job related experience with one or a
combination of the following stacks or frameworks: Oracle Fusion Middleware, Java, Webservices, and XML/XSLT XML and PL/SQL, OBIEE 11g, Oracle Apps, WebSphere Process Server, WebMethods experience will be considered
- Proficiency in BPM (Business process Management)
- Development
experience in the following: Technical architecture and integration approaches with Oracle SOA Suite, web
client development, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and
web service development and testing
- Ability
to work effectively with a team on complex projects, Gather requirements from client workshop, take ownership and
lead large portions of a project with little supervision
- Strong
communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills, and
experience in formulating and implementing Knowledge of IT solutions to
meet business requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Master’s degree preferred
- Agile development experience in a continuous integration environment
- Experience working with large integration software
- Experience
with Oracle tool suite, or other similar tool suites, to
support agile development and continuous integration.
