Description:


The  Applications Software Developers will: 

  • Requirement gathering and Analysis of SAP/ABAP application.
  • Activity Planning, Sequencing of SAP/ABAP application.
  • Resource Planning / Developing schedules
  • High Level design and Detailed Design of SAP/ABAP application.
  • Development / Peer Review / Testing / Bug fixing
  • Implementation, Configuration and Deployment
  • Maintaining existing systems
  • Optimize physical design and environment for different access methods and performance. 
  • Design, create and tune physical database objects to support normalized and dimensional models, maintaining the referential integrity of the database.
  • Develop database management productivity tools, including database monitoring procedures and utilities.
  • Provide ongoing support of the environment by developing processes and executing object migrations, security and access privilege setup.
  • Develop and test disaster recovery procedures using advanced DB features like Active Dataguard.
  • Perform Oracle Database backup and recovery using Oracle Recovery Manager Tool.
  • Provide 24x7 support and ensure all critical Oracle Database and Oracle e-Business Suite Application system problems are resolved in a timely manner.   
  • Develop solutions to client problems through application of methods and tools; validate solutions to subject matter experts.   
  • Contribute to continuous development of methods and tools. 



Qualifications:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other engineering degree with relevant software development experience.
  • 3-6  years of progressively responsible job related experience with  SAP ABAP application.
  • 3 years of SAP ABAP application development experience in MM, PP, HR, CO modules.
  • Experience in implementation, Configuration and Deployment

 


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Agile development experience in a continuous integration environment
